PRIMARY FUNCTION
This position assists in the implementation of all study activities at the site including, but not limited to, implementing and monitoring recruitment, patient interviews/evaluation and retention efforts, and developing tools to track site progress toward study goals, and may also assist with site budget and regulatory files maintenance.
SCOPE OF WORK
The ideal candidate will have a combination of organization skills, data management and interest in research so that they can:
1. Conduct and schedule all study visits (e.g. facilitate interviews and supervise participant self-administered assessments).
2. Establish rapport and track participants for all study visits, including the post-medication follow-up assessments (12 + weeks).
3. Manage compensation tasks such as ordering and maintaining supply of gift cards or cash, compensation documentation, disburse participant compensation for study related procedures, and associated tasks.
4. Enter data directly into EDC system and from paper source documents.
5. Provide back-up to other study personnel as required and appropriate.
6. Assist with study recruitment, advertising, and presentations.
7. Prepare study binders and perform general study administrative tasks.
8. Maintain and report study updated information.
9. Perform 12 lead ECG', phlebotomy blood draws, prepare biological specimens for shipping and blood sampling (training will be provided for these specific skills).
10. Facilitate interviews and supervise participant self-administered assessments.
11. Attend study conference calls, providing site-specific information as requested.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Two to Four Years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to read, analyze and interpret journals, reports, and documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints. Ability to write and conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Knowledge of 12-step program, behavior modification, case management and addiction.
