Senior Outreach Specialist

PRIMARY FUNCTION

This full-time, onsite position coordinates all study activities at the site including, but not limited to, supervising the study team, managing advertisements, implementing and monitoring recruitment and retention efforts, and developing tools to track site progress toward study goals, and may also assist with site budget and regulatory files maintenance.

SCOPE OF WORK

The ideal candidate will have a combination of organization skills, data management and interest in research so that they can:

  • Proactively anticipate implementation problems and work with Site PI and research team to prevent and devise solutions to problems.
  • Maintain and report study updated information.
  • Serve as back-up to the RA or other staff, as appropriate.
  • Serve as liaison with Lead Node and other nodes.
  • Perform general study administrative tasks, as needed.
  • Supervise Research Assistant and Recruiter to ensure successful completion of required duties.
  • Coordinate schedule and activities of Medical Providers to ensure patients are scheduled.
  • Attend study conference calls, providing site-specific information as requested.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  •  Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree

    RELATED EXPERIENCE

    • Two to Four Years


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret journals, reports, and documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints. Ability to write and conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Knowledge of 12-step program, behavior modification, case management and addiction.
