Licensed Counselor Supervisor (Residential Services)

  • Conduct regular clinical supervision for all counselors, peer support specialists, interns, and/or any direct care staff within the program.
  • Serve as a resource for counselors regarding program policies and procedures, ensuring that staff are aware of and following current standards of care.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of staff members and interns.
  • Facilitate patient intake admissions and assign primary counselor.
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to oversee recommendations and interventions related to patient care.
  • Make and maintain referrals to appropriate resource agencies and provide feedback to those agencies.
  • Plan and conduct staff development activities as necessary.
  • Monitor employee morale and consult with Program Manager and Director to recommend improvement of retention and job satisfaction.
  • Provide case management, individual, group, and family counseling for patients, as necessary.
  • Conduct patient assessments to develop, implement, and participate in patient treatment plans.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records ensuring accurate and timely submission of data for program reporting as required.
  • Review patient charts and complete monthly Quality Improvement chart audits.
  • Perform counselor duties when absent and assist with crisis intervention as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Masters degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • LMHC, LCSW or LMFT license required

Supervisory Responsibilities: 6-10 employees.

Job Type: Full-time (Exempt).

Schedule: - 40-hour week 

Compensation: $75,000.00 USD per year.
